Something is wrong with the way private GROUPS are designed. User's are not aware of their existence and Private Group owners try to convince users to join an uknown group. Proposals in comments.
Maz In my site http://friendzip.net I was created a Group named "gallery". out of this, still in my sub directory domain name, i installed another script, for fotographic named gallery (friendzip.net/gallery). when i opened my 'gallery' group, its jumped to the subdomain application. anyone know why?
STX Solve the SPAM problem first - this is a major issue. Let the community decide who is a spammer or not by blocking the user. If a user gets too many blocks the profile should be temp disabled!!!
Posts in Special Groups should be highlighted in some way. When you open the homepage of a group, you should be able to see who is the admin of the group (above group members).
karasardelis@Francky There is nothing "special" in Special Groups at the moment... just a "special" name...

bgdomainer@Kostas Karasardelis, thanks for idea about the highlighting the special group posts, we should think about it.
For now special groups are only to show the important groups in the community and users could find them easily in the "Groups" area (where we have more than 100 groups).
Private groups should have an option to be visible to all with request for membership for new members. I have private groups at my site that noone knows them @georgi@Sofiya
vassko We were just talking about this, but also we want to implement a auto spam detect based on a number of postings and maybe identical posts. So, if a user posts more than 2-3 posts per min, he is a spammer and we flag him for a review by the admin, etc.
Nice Option for next ST version - Community spam control. Let the users mark a spammer and if an account has more than a predefined number of marks then it' s temporarily disabled until admin approves
karasardelis My proposal is not for spam bots (which require a different approach) - it is intended for human spammers and flamers which do not actually belong to a community. You should be able to mark a post, a comment or an account as unwanted/spam...
